Assistant Production Manager- Nightshift- Sunday-Thursday

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Production Manager for our Nightshift, scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our production operations during the night, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency. Nightshift Hours Sunday-Thursday 2200-0700 Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in overseeing nightshift operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
• Monitor production schedules and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and output
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members
• Assist in training and developing nightshift staff to improve performance and adherence to quality standards
• Conduct quality checks and respond promptly to any production issues or discrepancies
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule equipment repairs and ensure minimal downtime
• Gather and analyze production data to prepare reports that drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production management role, preferably within the food manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and quality assurance procedures
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a nightshift team effectively
• Proven problem-solving abilities and the capability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various teams and stakeholders
• Willingness to work night shifts, including potential overtime, as required
