Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits Package
About the Role
We're supporting a growing Data & Analytics team looking to add a Data Engineer who can take ownership of data pipelines, support modern reporting platforms and help drive a data-led culture across the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working independently, building scalable data solutions and partnering with analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data products.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
- Building data ingestion processes from a variety of source systems.
- Developing and supporting data warehouse and data lake environments.
- Working with Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server-based platforms.
- Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Supporting data governance, security and quality initiatives.
- Monitoring data platforms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience within Data Engineering.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building data pipelines.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tooling and data integration platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, Alteryx or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and data lakes.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Python experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
