Are you a Senior Firmware Test Automation Engineer who enjoys building scalable automation frameworks, improving product reliability, and working across embedded systems and streaming technologies?

A rapidly expanding Fintech organisation is looking for a Senior Firmware Test Automation Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of a brand-new automation testing function focused on embedded Linux devices and cloud-connected platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design and develop automated regression systems, build hardware-in-the-loop testing environments, and improve reliability across firmware, video, and streaming workflows. You’ll work closely with firmware engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, automated quality solutions in a fast-moving technical environment.

The environment is collaborative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement, with strong opportunities to influence engineering standards and grow into a Lead-level position as the team expands.

Your Mission

• Design and build scalable firmware automation frameworks
• Develop daily regression pipelines for embedded Linux devices
• Automate firmware deployment, device flashing, and test execution
• Build automated validation for video and streaming workflows
• Support RTSP and WebRTC testing, stability, and performance monitoring
• Create robust hardware-in-the-loop testing environments
• Improve automation reliability, reporting, and failure triage
• Collaborate with firmware teams to improve testability and product quality

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in Firmware Testing or Test Automation Engineering
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux environments
• Experience building CI-driven automated testing pipelines
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and debugging
