Director of Internal Audit & Risk | North West (Hybrid)

Salary: £120,000-£140,000+ bonus + benefits

We are exclusively partnering with our long term client to recruit a Director of Audit and Risk. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior audit and risk professional to join a high growth, PE backed organisation undergoing significant transformation.

The role is ideal for a proven leader in internal audit who is motivated by the opportunity to shape and establish a ‘best-in-class’ audit function within a dynamic and evolving business. While experience in a private equity environment is advantageous, the key requirement is the ability to work effectively with the Board and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to drive change, influence cross functionally, and embed a culture of accountability.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded and bring strategic leadership to both audit and risk. Responsible for developing and executing a dynamic, risk based audit plan, leading the organisation’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, and delivering insights on risk exposure and control effectiveness to senior stakeholders. A champion of innovation, will leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to enhance audit and risk activities, improving efficiency, coverage, and value.
