Bedales of Borough is one of London’s iconic wine bars, proudly rooted in the heart of Borough Market. For decades, we’ve been a destination for those who care deeply about wine, food and genuine hospitality.

We are now looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our next chapter.

What We Are Looking For

A proven manager with a track record of success leading large teams and busy services.

A key desire to lead by example, constantly train and improve their team and be a positive driver.

Project focused and results driven. This is a chance to take something good and make it great.

Experience of business management, you will be supported every step of the way, but someone who is comfortable discussing margin, designing training programmes, effectively handling HR and H&S and independently running their business with full P&L accountability.

Systems and process led, this is an independent company that can always be better so bringing a wealth of experience is key.

Hospitality and guest experience obsessed.

This is a hands-on role, you are the face of the business, but it is also a large organisation that needs effective, strong back office management.

Ultimately responsible for the business performance of the unit. Owning both guest experience and the financial results while keeping day to day operations running smoothly.

What We Offer·       £60,000 to £65,000 per year including a share of service charge. (£45,000 to £50,000 basic)

·       45 hour work week

·       28 days holiday

·       Bonus scheme. Goal based bonus up to £10,000 per year

What We Require·       Previous extensive general management experience

·       Experience in fast paced, busy locations

·       A passion for wine, formal qualifications desired, but not required, but passion is a must

·       A passion for hospitality

·       Competent computer skills

·       A great communicator both written and verbal
