Role Overview

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help design and build our EMS platform. You’ll work on complex backend and frontend problems, integrate with IoT data, and create scalable services to support multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
• Work with IoT data pipelines and energy analytics.
• Build clean, user-friendly interfaces when needed.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers in a fast-moving environment.
• Mentor junior developers as we grow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development (backend and/or full stack).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience with modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Node.js, etc.).
• Knowledge of databases and data pipelines (SQL/NoSQL, time-series databases).
• Interest in energy, IoT, or sustainability a plus.

Location: Europe (UK preferred).
