Community Action Bradford & District is on the lookout for a motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join our Business Development team, helping to support the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector across the district.

Role Description
This is a hybrid vacancy with weekly attendance at Cardigan House (our Bingley Office) for team meetings, as well as travel around the district and region for meetings and events as required.
KEY PURPOSES OF THE POST
To work within the Business Development Team delivering and administering communications and marketing activity to support the whole organisation
To administer key events and networks
To ensure our internal systems and processes are effective and compliant
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCommunications and Marketing
To deliver on the organisational marketing strategy and support with the organisation’s communications and marketing activity
To produce and disseminate regular sector newsletters
To administer the Community Action, Snicket and any other project websites regularly to ensure that they are up to date and are utilised by the target audience
To maintain the organisation’s universal self-serve resource offering by uploading and refreshing online content regularly
To support with the organisations social media accounts, posting accessible and varied content regularly
To support the Business Development Officer with the production of regular Community Showcases in written, audio or video format as required
To support the administration of the organisation’s database to ensure it is relevant and up to date
Administration
Administer network (Leaders’ and Chair’s) mailing lists and WhatsApp groups
To support with the administration of Community Action and VCSE sector events
To maintain the Community Action database, ensuring quality control, accurate data entry and timely reporting across the organisation
To collate and provide monitoring reports on a regular basis to the BDM
To administer data protection processes and ensure compliance with relevant policies
Monitor and respond to enquiries through email, websites, social media or any other channel
Support the BDM to identify income generation opportunities through consultancy, grant funding and contracts

This is a 2-year fixed term contract, with possible extension subject to funding. The role is subject to a 3-month probationary period.
