About the Role

As Centre Director, you’ll be the figurehead of the asset, responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a high-performing on-site team, and collaborating with occupiers, stakeholders, and the asset management team to deliver strong commercial performance and a standout customer experience.

This role requires prior experience as a senior leader at a large shopping centre or retail-led mixed-use asset of similar complexity – ideally with 70+ occupiers across retail and leisure.Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of centre operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery and long-term value
• Inspire and develop the centre team to achieve excellence across service, compliance, and experience
• Build strong, trusted relationships with occupiers and lead initiatives to enhance trading performance
• Support ongoing enhancements, refurbishments, and activations to future-proof the asset
• Partner with local and city stakeholders to maintain the destination’s role in the wider urban environment
• Act as the face of the asset – visible, accountable, and performance-focused

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record as Centre Director / General Manager or equivalent at a large shopping centre (ideally 70+ units)
• Deep understanding of managing multi-let retail and leisure destinations with high footfall
• Confident in navigating the operational, stakeholder, and commercial complexities of a flagship site
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire diverse teams in fast-paced environments
• Commercially astute with a collaborative approach to asset management and long-term planning
