I am currently recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy manufacturer, based in Coventry, who are seeking a Head of Program Management to join their team

Job Description

As Head of Program Management, your main responsibilities are:

• Develop and establish the Clients' battery development programme management strategy, methodology, responsibilities, services, tools and training requirements.
• Provide planning and impact analysis for new battery-development initiatives into programmes, to support the vision, strategic objectives and business continuity commitments, working closely and maintaining effective relationships with Functional leads and other key stakeholders.
• Provide effective programme management across the Clients' battery-development programme and projects, overseeing the successful delivery of projects/programmes regarding time, budget, and quality, through to benefits realisation.
• Lead cross functional issue resolution and remove roadblocks internally and externally.
• Allocate work to team members and provide guidance.
• Nominate individuals for training as per guidelines to ensure that team members receive all necessary.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Essential to come from a manufacturing background, pref. auto.
• Experience of working on collaborative partnerships
• Preferably have some experience of working in or with Chinese organisations
• Lean manufacturing/Continuous improvement
• Background operating within a large complex organisation is essential, preferably within an automotive environment
• Previous experience operating as a Programme Director or similar equivalent role with regular C-suite engagement and reporting
