We are seeking an experienced Head of Technical to lead the technical agenda for a fast-paced food manufacturing site. You will drive quality, safety, legality and integrity while delivering the site’s technical strategy and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

About the role:

• Location: Northeast England
• Salary £80,000 - £85,000 + car allowance + package

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the on-site technical team, setting clear objectives and driving a culture of excellence.
• Deliver outstanding technical compliance and customer management.
• Implement and influence group technical strategy at site level.
• Maintain exceptional audit performance and manage customer visits, audits and product launches.
• Use data to monitor technical KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally within the Senior Leadership Team to ensure products are always safe, legal and high-quality.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
