Case Administrator - Motor Injury Application Deadline: 1 September 2025 Department: CSG - Casualty (EL/PL / CAT PI / Disease / Fraud / Motor / Credit Hire) Employment Type: Permanent Location: Birmingham Description DAC Beachcroft is looking to recruit an additional Case Administrator to join our Motor Injury Team within our Claims Solutions Group (CSG). Our large multi-jurisdictional team, whose clients are a mix of leading names in the insurance industry as well as household name corporates, deal with all aspects of defendant litigation, to include catastrophic injury, pre-emptive advice and dispute resolution. Through virtual working opportunities we are now looking for candidates based anywhere across the UK to join our national Motor Injury Team. Successful candidates will be joined with one of our hub office locations of Newport, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow where a hybrid model of working between the office and at home will be arranged. What you will do? You are expected to provide a timely, professional and high-quality service to our clients in the management of claims. Depending on your role, and with the support of a supervisor and team manager you will be expected to:

  • Assisting with the set-up of new files in the case management system
  • To assist with the running of files to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively to conclusion
  • Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet the needs of the clients and the commercial requirements of the firm to include:
  • Adherence to internal and client SLAs and KPIs
  • Achievement of agreed financial targets
  • Assisting with MI completion
  • Assisting with updating Client portals
  • Diarising Court directions
  • Updating CRU certificates
  • Obtaining and chasing medical records,
  • Submitting payment requests
  • Chasing orders and settlement cheques
  • Liaising with Courts, Opponent Solicitors and other Third Parties
  • Completing basic legal forms
  • Organising and preparing for Counsel instructions
  • Other administrative duties, as required

Who you are We are happy to hear from graduates or those with customer service/retail experience who are team players and have the passion for learning. We'd also like to hear from Paralegals who may already have experience working in a legal environment. You will ;

  • Be IT literate
  • Have a good telephone manner
  • Be organised and able to prioritise and manage a constantly changing workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to make decisions within own areas of responsibility
  • Able to work on own initiative without close supervision
  • A co-operative team player who is able to work effectively within a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work
  • Experience of using a file management/ finance systems is preferred, but not essential
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive)
