Senior MLOps Engineer (Manchester)Location: Manchester Hybrid (Currently 40% onsite, moving to 60% within 12 months)

Salary: Up to £66,000 depending on experience

A leading UK insurer investing heavily in its Pricing and Analytics transformation is strengthening its MLOps capability within live pricing systems.

This role focuses on the controlled deployment and governance of Python rating models within live quote and buy systems. You will be responsible for ensuring high frequency pricing changes are released safely, consistently and with full traceability.

The Role:

• Own and steer the development and operation of Python rating engines
• Design and evolve frameworks, tools and APIs that scale model deployment across teams
• Create controlled and seamless routes for high quality rating changes
• Contribute to architecture standards and technical documentation
• Translate business requirements into robust production solutions
• Influence how MLOps drives pricing performance and business outcomes

Experience Required:

• Strong Python engineering capability
• Experience working with production ML, pricing or data driven systems
• Confidence working with Git and structured release processes
• Logical and structured problem solving ability
• Clear communication across technical and non technical stakeholders
• Comfort leading technical direction rather than simply executing tasks
