Quality and Product Reliability Engineer

The Product Quality & Reliability Engineer will develop reliability plans and tests to ensure that Dukosi products comply with relevant industry standards and customer requirements. The engineer will manage subcontract partners to ensure that reliability stresses are executed correctly and within project timelines and budget. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of product reliability, from pre-qualification of prototype material to ongoing reliability testing in mass production. KEY DUTIES

• Develop pre-qualification and full qualification plans for mixed-signal ic product developments that satisfy relevant industry standards and customer requirements.
• Liaise with key suppliers to ensure all infeed components and processes are qualified to required industrial standards.
• Ensure that each product reliability budget is correct with respect to timescales and cost.
• Manage 3rd party reliability test vendors to ensure that qualification plans are executed as per plan.
• Manage reliability and qualification activities throughout product safe launch, ongoing reliability monitoring and change management.
• Manage customer returns, ensuring effective communication with customers on progress, and work closely with Dukosi Product Engineering to determine containment.
• Conclude and report reliability qualifications.
• Working closely with) product and quality teams to conduct root cause investigation and reliability analysis of field returns.
• Definition and implementation of component qualification programmes.
• Customer interfacing on reliability documentation and reliability work based on solid knowledge of physics-of-failures.
• Communicate effectively to customers Dukosi qualification plans and results
• Conclude and report reliability qualifications.

• Responsible for reliability modelling and prediction, fault tree analysis, Weibull analysis, etc
• Assessment/evaluation of semiconductor ageing characteristics, failure modes & associated risks.

Experience

• Must be at least a BEng Electronics or Electrical engineering graduate (or similar applicable field).
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in semiconductor reliability testing, preferably in automotive applications with embedded non-volatile memory.
• Experienced with IC reliability stress methods such as HTOL, bHAST, HTS, ESD, LU, etc.
• Knowledge of semiconductor and package reliability failure mechanisms.
• Knowledgeable in fault isolation and failure analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of automotive IC reliability standards such as JESD22, AECQ100, AECQ005, etc.
