💰 Rate: £700 per day – Inside IR35
📅 Duration: 6-month contract
Are you an experienced Senior Solution Architect who thrives on turning complex business challenges into practical, scalable technology solutions?
We're working with a leading financial services organisation looking for a hands-on Senior Solution Architect to provide architecture leadership across a range of business-critical technology initiatives.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of solution architecture from initial requirements and option assessments through to detailed design, governance approval and delivery mobilisation.
🔍 What you'll be doing:
- Leading solution architecture across defined business and technology initiatives.
- Translating complex or evolving requirements into clear, implementable architecture designs.
- Assessing solution options, technical approaches, risks and trade-offs.
- Producing detailed architecture documentation and supporting artefacts.
- Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Security and Infrastructure teams, alongside third-party delivery partners.
- Managing architectural risks, dependencies and technical decisions.
- Supporting governance processes and ensuring solutions are ready for implementation.
- Balancing application, integration, data, security, infrastructure and operational requirements.
✅ What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering solution architecture for complex, business-critical technology programmes.
- Strong end-to-end solution design capabilities across multiple technology domains.
- The ability to turn ambiguous requirements into practical architectural decisions.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset, with experience navigating architectural governance and matrix-managed environments.
