Graduate RF Engineer

We’re hiring a Graduate RF Engineer – Edinburgh - Up to £35K plus benefits

An Edinburgh-based client is seeking a Graduate RF Engineer to join their growing engineering team and help design, test, and integrate next-generation RF systems for satellite communications.

You’ll work across the full product lifecycle—from requirements capture to lab testing—while learning from experienced RF, digital, and mechanical engineers.

As a Graduate RF Engineer, you will be involved in:

• Supporting RF system design, simulation, and component selection
• Contributing to requirements management, compliance tracking, and documentation
• Perform lab testing with VNAs, spectrum analysers, and other equipment
• Assist with algorithm development for RF control and signal processing

To be considered for the Graduate RF Engineer opportunity, you must have:

• Strong understanding of RF & microwave principles
• Analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
• Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, CST, SystemVue)
• PCB design experience (e.g., Altium)
• Programming/scripting in Python, Matlab, or similar
