🦺 SHE Advisor – Contract | South West England | Utilities & Electrical Construction

Are you a safety-driven professional with a strong electrical background and utilities site experience?

We’re working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced SHE Advisors for a long-term contract based in South West England.

📍 Location: South West England

⏳ Contract Length: 6 month rolling contract (Opportunity to become a permanent role)

🕗 Hours: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday

👷 ♂️ Sector: Utilities & Electrical Construction

🔍 About the Role:

As a SHE Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across active utilities and electrical construction sites. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular site inspections and audits
• Supporting incident investigations and reporting
• Promoting a proactive safety culture across teams
• Ensuring compliance with company and legal SHE standards
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Collaborating with site managers and operatives to improve SHE performance

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Must have experience working on utilities sites (e.g. power, water, gas, telecoms)
• Strong electrical background – ideally within infrastructure or construction projects
• Proven track record in a SHE role within the construction or utilities sector
• In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Relevant SHE qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
