We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who can hit the ground running and help transition from manual to automated testing.
You will work on a web-based application within a mature automation framework, collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality software. This role requires strong technical skills in WebdriverIO and JavaScript, along with the ability to design, implement, and showcase automated test cases.
The position requires on-site work for 3 days per week.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the existing automation framework for web applications
- Develop and execute automated test cases using WebDriverIO and JavaScript
- Showcase test case creation and provide coding examples during the interview process
- Contribute to the reporting and documentation of test automation results
- Assist in performance and load testing for SOAP and web-based services
- Work closely with team members to ensure seamless integration and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Proven experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on transitioning from manual to automated testing
- Ability to build and maintain a comprehensive test suite
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycle
Nice to have
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and Playwright
- Familiarity with WebDriverIO and JavaScript
- Experience in performance and load testing for SOAP and web-based services
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively
