Digital Project Manager
Job Description
Posted on: March 10, 2026
Our client is an established, small boutique digital studio. They design and build websites and digital platforms for respected institutions and brands. Their visual output has polish and finesse, combining rigorous UX thinking with careful design craft and robust technical delivery. Everything is built in-house.
You will be joining a small, experienced team, typically having left larger agencies searching for more direct contact with clients and a drive to make stuff. The culture is friendly and the work is serious.
This is a digital-only role (websites and platforms), that distinction matters. A large component is managing 3 Developers, sprint planning and technical briefs, QA, ongoing maintenance contracts.
Their Project Manager sits at the centre of client relationships and delivery; from brief to launch, protects the scope of work, keeps communication clear, and ensures clients are well looked after. You will own the client relationships, so you need to be confident, grounded, and capable of holding court and managing changes whilst building trust.
The PM has a hand in new business too; nothing too heavy, just being comfortable in a pitch and helping shape proposals.
Your experience may be brand-side but it is essential that you have managed multiple projects at once for external clients / departments (as opposed to project managing a . single brand in-house).
Do you have experience with a CMS tool? Craft, or otherwise, as long as you are used to navigating and fielding content queries from clients.
You will be:
- Writing, maintaining and protecting scope of work, timelines, status reports, and contact notes.
- Supporting remote team in UK and US.
- Contributing to how the studio presents its work externally, case studies, credentials, and studio profile...ready to talk about it!
You have/are:
- 5 years' project management experience in a digital studio or agency.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a small agency background without much infrastructure.
- Sole PM exposure in a boutique studio, rather than being one of many PM's in a bigger shop.
- Confident and commercially sharp with a high EI, able to read the room and gain trust.
- Experience in culture, arts, publishing, hospitality, or luxury sectors.
- Familiarity with Craft CMS or similar content management platforms is useful but not required.
- Self-sufficient, take pride in your work, and find satisfaction in doing things properly.
