About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Planner to join a dynamic, people-focused planning consultancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, covering sectors such as business, energy, education, sport, leisure, residential, and retail.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and guiding projects from inception to completion, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver planning applications and feasibility studies.
- Lead projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
- Provide strategic advice and innovative planning solutions.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Chartered MRTPI status or clear evidence of progression toward chartership (e.g., submission of APC within 6 months).
- RTPI-accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Commercial awareness and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Experience working in Yorkshire or the North West is advantageous but not essential.
- A team-player mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 – £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience).
- Car Allowance: £4,000 per annum.
- Bonus: Performance-related bonus scheme.
