We are seeking an experienced MRICS or FRICS Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of complex construction projects from inception through to final account. This is a senior, client‑facing position offering the opportunity to shape projects, mentor others and contribute to the long‑term growth of the business.

Glyndwr Consulting Ltd is an independent, Welsh based quantity surveying and cost consultancy established in 2018, delivering traditional and specialist QS services across Wales and the South West of England. The firm supports clients throughout the full construction lifecycle—from early cost planning and procurement through to construction cost control and post completion review—placing strong emphasis on cost certainty, transparency, and proactive risk management. With over 100 years of combined team experience, Glyndwr Consulting, a RICS regulated company, serves a diverse client base across Blue light, Education, Residential, Commercial, Heritage and decarbonisation projects.
The Role
- Delivery of pre‑ and post‑contract Quantity Surveying services
- Cost planning, value engineering and commercial risk management
- Contract administration under JCT and NEC forms of contract
- Management of variations, valuations and final accounts
- Acting as the primary commercial lead and trusted advisor to clients
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior surveyors
About You
- MRICS or FRICS qualified
- Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts (JCT / NEC)
- Proven experience delivering complex or high‑value projects
- Commercially astute with excellent client‑facing and leadership skills
- Motivated to progress towards Associate Director level responsibility
