Grace May is supporting the appointment of a Marketing & Social Media Manager on behalf of a well established, commercially focused technical business with a strong UK presence, circa £30 million turnover, and continued investment across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional to take ownership of marketing activity within a respected organisation focused on continued growth, brand development, and digital modernisation.
The Opportunity
The role offers genuine variety and visibility, combining strategic planning with hands on delivery across both digital and traditional marketing activity. This is a broad and visible role with responsibility across:
- Digital marketing
- Social media and content creation
- Website management and SEO
- Branding and communications
- Internal communications
- Industry events and engagement
- Commercial and lead generation support
- Campaign performance and marketing analytics
Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams across the business, you will help shape marketing direction, strengthen digital presence, improve communication across the organisation, and support wider commercial objectives.
Key Areas of Focus
- Managing and improving marketing and social media activity across the business
- Supporting brand development and consistent external messaging
- Managing website content, digital presence, and SEO improvements
- Creating engaging content across LinkedIn and wider digital channels
- Supporting commercial activity, bids, presentations, and lead generation initiatives
- Coordinating with operational, sales, technical, and leadership teams across the organisation
- Managing relationships with external marketing and media partners
- Supporting internal communications and wider business engagement
- Monitoring campaign performance, analytics, and marketing effectiveness to support continuous improvement
The Person
- Experience within a Marketing Manager or similar role
- Experience across digital marketing, websites, analytics, and social media
- Ability to combine strategic planning with hands on execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and organised individual who enjoys building, improving, and coordinating marketing activity across a wider business
