I'm recruiting for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading engineering business developing and supporting complex electrical systems and products.
You'll be responsible for delivering electrical design solutions across new and existing products, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design activities for new and existing products.
- Produce and review specifications, drawings, test procedures and technical documentation.
- Support customer design reviews, audits and acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain and commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and CE requirements.
- Act as a technical approver for engineering documentation.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an Electrical Project Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer role.
- Strong background in power, control and instrumentation systems, particularly DC systems.
- Proficient with SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD LT.
- Experience generating design calculations and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of PLM systems and CE compliance.
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
