The Role

You’ll join a cross-functional engineering team focused on building high-performance back-end systems that power real-time messaging, voice, and data analytics. You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices, collaborating closely with multi-disciplined teams around the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based back-end services.
• Building cloud-native applications using Spring Boot and modern frameworks.
• Collaborating with product, QA, and front-end engineers to deliver new features.
• Debugging, optimising, and improving system performance and reliability.
• Contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of Agile software development.
• A right to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship or expiry.
