Salary: £57,500 - £72,000 + Benefits

We're working with a leading digital consultancy that delivers complex software solutions for large-scale organisations across the UK. Due to continued growth and a significant pipeline of projects, we're looking to recruit experienced Senior Kotlin Developers to join a highly collaborative engineering team.

The Role

As a Senior Kotlin Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems within agile, multidisciplinary teams.

You will:

• Develop high-quality backend applications using Kotlin
• Design and build scalable, cloud-native solutions within AWS
• Work closely with engineers, architects, product managers and delivery teams
• Champion engineering best practices, testing, and code quality
• Contribute to technical discussions and solution design
• Support and mentor other developers within the team

RequirementsWe're looking for candidates with:

• Strong commercial experience developing software using Kotlin
• Proven backend/software engineering experience (non-mobile)
• Hands-on commercial experience working with AWS (essential)
• Experience building scalable, resilient applications and services
• A solid understanding of modern software engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

• Experience working within a consultancy environment
• Experience delivering projects within the public sector
• Exposure to modern frontend technologies
