Programme Overview
The Antivirals Marketing Undergraduate Placement is part of Pfizer’s UK Undergraduate Programme 2026/2027, within the Anti-infectives/Antivirals Marketing Team. This placement offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, providing exposure to brand strategy, supply management, customer engagement, and the broader pharmaceutical industry.
Placement Duration: 12 months
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Create brand materials to convey scientific data to Healthcare Professionals through multi-channel approaches
- Develop patient support materials and assist in disease awareness campaigns
- Participate in team-based projects with marketing and field teams
- Support material development, approvals, and omnichannel marketing activities
- Assist with congress and medical education logistics
- Track budgets and support supply management to maintain critical medicines
- Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for different brands
- Gain experience in launching a novel antibiotic and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
- Lead or assist on marketing projects to improve customer experience and support brand strategy
Person SpecificationWho Can Apply:
- UK University students completing a placement as part of a degree (Year in Industry, Industrial Placement, or Gap Year)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication, presentation, and computer literacy skills
- Team player, self-motivated, organised, and passionate about learning
- Desire to understand commercial business operations
- Some knowledge of digital marketing is preferable
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; this is a placement opportunity
