We're working with a highly respected, multi-site manufacturing specialist with a reputation for excellence on this exciting 12-month opportunity. Join a collaborative finance function as a Payroll Officer where you’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll cycle. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to leverage high-end systems like ADP and Workday to drive compliance and process improvements in a fast-paced environment. The Role
- Manage full end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring all schedules reconcile with 100% accuracy.
- Lead the administration of statutory deductions, HMRC RTI submissions, attachment of earnings, and court orders.
- Maintain the Time & Attendance system, ensuring seamless data transfer into the ADP payroll platform.
- Handle complex calculations including bonuses, pension uploads, holiday pay, and year-end P11D/P60 documentation.
- Drive operational excellence by supporting payroll audits and identifying opportunities for digital process enhancement.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on technical proficiency with ADP and Workday software is highly desirable for this role.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and complex reporting (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Deep knowledge of current UK payroll legislation, HMRC compliance, and pension auto-enrolment rules.
- A professional, customer-centric approach to resolving internal employee queries regarding shift allowances and overtime.
What's On Offer
- Competitive salary up to £33,000 plus a generous bonus structure (Quarterly, Annual, and Easter bonuses).
- Outstanding 33 days annual leave package and a 7% employer pension contribution.
- Comprehensive study support including fully funded courses and dedicated paid study time to advance your career.
- A flexible, remote-working culture with a focus on internal progression and personal development.
