The Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience across all stages of the building works, from tender to completion, while working closely with our Senior Project Manager and other team members. We are looking for someone with a background in Architecture, Design, or Project Management. Any experience in these fields would be an advantage.
Key Skills required for the role:
- Understanding of Architectural Drawings: Ability to interpret and manage technical drawings.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
- Highly Organised: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work with large amounts of information.
- Problem Solver: Ability to identify challenges/issues and work with the team members to find solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat.
Role Responsibilities:
- Administration Support: Organise project files, manage internal documentation, take meeting minutes, and maintain accurate project records.
- Project Tracking: Assist in tracking variations, changes to drawings, and monitoring project-related expenses.
- Procurement Support: Coordinate with suppliers to quantify materials, assist with placing orders, and track deliveries.
- Subcontractor Management: Help schedule subcontractors, ensure they meet deadlines, and maintain clear, open communication.
- Handover Support: Assist with the snagging period and final handover paperwork.

Additional Details:
- Location: Our office is based in Acton (W3 8BL), with excellent transport links.
- Office Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Salary: Between £33,000 to £35,000 per annum to begin with.
- Employment Type: Permanent role (PAYE), following a successful trial period.
