Business Advisory Consultant

A leading professional services firm is seeking a dynamic Business Advisory Consultant to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clients as a trusted advisor, delivering high-quality accounting and consultancy services while influencing strategic decision-making. What You’ll Do As a key member of client finance teams, you’ll take ownership of project delivery, bringing both technical expertise and commercial insight. Your responsibilities will span:

• Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Managing month-end close for complex clients
• Delivering tailored management reports and KPI dashboards
• Advising on accounting treatments and identifying process improvements
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Communicating directly with clients on trading positions, legislative changes, and future outlooks

What You’ll Bring You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting. You combine technical proficiency with a commercial mindset and thrive in client-facing environments.

• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine interest in helping clients succeed
