We are currently seeking an agile, self-motivated individual who is proactive in their approach and eager to step into a varied role within their HR career. Working as part of the People Team, this role combines administrative and operational support duties, including recruitment and onboarding, employee record maintenance, absenteeism management, benefits administration, payroll support, training coordination and delivery, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Experience in Employment Relations is essential. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record as a trusted, credible business support professional with the ability to engage, inspire, and deal with ambiguity.
The role demands strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, serving as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries. With broad HR experience across various areas, the HR Coordinator will collaborate with the broader People Team to maintain credible and efficient HR operations. This role focuses on innovative thinking through a lens of continuous improvement and confidently implementing changes.
This generalist HR role involves engagement in the entire employee lifecycle, delivering best-in-class people experience and enabling the team to achieve new heights.
How you will contribute:
- Oversee the new-hire orientation process and manage documentation for personnel files.
- Serve as the primary contact for new employee onboarding and general employee communications.
- Conduct pre-boarding and onboarding for all new hires, enhancing processes as needed.
- Respond to information requests from Line Managers and assist employees with a customer service approach to meet departmental objectives promptly.
- Maintain department organization by managing systems and providing widespread support where needed.
- Own and maintain all employees' related records, both physical and digital.
- Partner with all members of the People Team to support all phases of human resources activity at various business locations, ensuring all output aligns with the People Strategy.
- Review options, request proposals, secure events, and oversee activities that occur internally and off-site.
- Create and maintain dashboards/tracking systems to drive meaningful outcomes of people-focused activities.
- Prepare internal and external documents supporting function operations.
- Conduct exit interviews and share valuable insights and recommendations with the People Team.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation.
- Perform quality checks on all people-related data and run accurate reports by the weekly deadline.
- Maintain, track, and log information for both internal and legal compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for all Employee Relations matters and escalate as appropriate.
What you will bring:
- Broad generalist HR skills across a range of populations and sectors.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with the wider team at all levels.
- Understanding of UK Employment Law and Employee Relations management, with global Employment Law knowledge being advantageous.
