We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Sales Administrator to support the sales strategy and oversee the lifecycle of customer projects—from initial enquiry through to pricing, procurement, and delivery. This role is instrumental in building strong client relationships, supporting the sales process, and collaborating with multiple internal departments to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all customer activities from initial enquiry to quote, securing orders, and project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and product advice to customers across the designated region and function
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting growth and retention
- Meet sales targets while identifying opportunities for value engineering and margin optimisation
- Coordinate showroom visits and encourage client engagement through physical demonstrations
- Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions, gathering insights and opportunities
- Maintain accurate and timely updates within forecasting tools, CRM systems, and project tracking (including Pi)
- Collaborate with sales support teams in international offices to ensure accurate and efficient bidding processes
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and service teams to deliver seamless project execution
- Drive customer approval processes for manufacturing and procurement milestones
- Source materials and services from both the UK supply chain and international factories in compliance with regulations
- Review and interpret contract documentation, drawings, and specifications to identify risks and commercial implications
- Take full accountability for project outcomes, including commercial performance and client satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, product specifications, and competitor activity
- Support the development of key accounts and ongoing customer engagement strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales coordination, project management, or technical sales role
- Strong understanding of building products, construction projects, or technical sales processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying complexity and timelines
- Proficiency in CRM tools and project tracking systems
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with international teams and departments
- Knowledge of building regulations and construction industry standards is advantageous
