HR Administrator – Vetting (Contract Role) Glasgow (2-3 days/week in office) Contract until end of 2025 Telecoms Industry Project Support We’re working with a leading mobile telecommunications provider as they roll out an exciting new internal standards project. As part of this, they’re looking for an HR Administrator – Vetting to join the team on a contract basis until the end of the year. This is a focused HR role, supporting vetting and compliance processes rather than the broader HR remit. You'll play a key role in ensuring robust and consistent checks are carried out across the workforce as part of this high-priority internal programme. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the end-to-end vetting process for new hires and contractors.
• Handling potentially sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Building relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance.
• Maintaining accurate data across internal systems (Excel, SharePoint, Oracle/SAGE or similar).

About You: You’ll have a strong background in vetting, compliance, or recruitment administration – particularly where you’ve handled pre-employment checks. Ideal candidates may come from:

• Recruitment agencies, where you’ve vetted candidates before onboarding
• Financial services/FCA-regulated environments with compliance experience
• Collections or similar roles dealing with confidential/sensitive information

You’re confident navigating sensitive topics and building trust quickly. You’re tech-savvy, with strong Excel skills (including pivot tables) and experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools. #Jobster
