A leading UK university is seeking an experienced interim to step into a Deputy Director of Marketing & Brand role. This is a strategic, hands-on role suited to someone with senior-level experience in HE marketing, particularly around portfolio development and leadership of high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Line management of 6 direct reports at Head-of-level across creative services, digital, content, market research and more.
- Strategic leadership of product and pricing work – reviewing the current portfolio, identifying opportunities for course development (particularly for international markets), and working closely with market insight teams.
- Contributing to senior leadership discussions on positioning, recruitment and brand direction.
You’ll need:
- Extensive experience in UK Higher Education marketing, ideally at Deputy/Director level
- A strong track record in portfolio review, pricing strategy, and student recruitment
- Confident people leadership, with experience managing senior-level staff across multiple functions
- Availability to work flexibly on-site (e.g. every other week) – accommodation is available
