Practice Accountant

• Salary: up to £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Responsibilities Our client is firm of accountants based in the south side of Glasgow where they offer a wide range of accounting. taxation services, and business advisory support to a wide variety of OMB businesses and individuals. They currently seek an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team of eleven. Reporting to the Partners, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
• Ad-hoc preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Assisting with personal tax compliance
• Assisting with the occasional audit (optional)
• Working within set budgets and time scales
• Regular engagement with clients and colleagues

Skills Required

• A minimum of 3-years’ experience of working within professional practice
• Strong core skills of statutory accounts preparation for OMB clients
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong team player
