Estimator

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Work within the estimating team to create quotations for main contractors, sub-contractors and merchants for pre-hung doorsets. Full product & role training will be given. CONTRACTED HOURS: 40 hrs Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 ENVIRONMENT: Office KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

• Evaluate architects drawings to create a quotation schedule.
• Check all products against technical information including fire certificates & data sheets.
• Cost project based on information received on a project by project basis.
• Ensure all quotations are accurately entered into our CRM system and create job folders
• Support handover meetings with the contracts team once orders are won.
• Adhoc admin tasks to support the office and team
• Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience working with architectural drawings is desirable
• Excellent working knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft software
• Knowledge or background within the joinery industry is beneficial
