We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at a leading global manufacturer. You will play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently while working with highly automated equipment, modern machinery, and advanced technology.

What you will do

• Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and moulding equipment

• Work on automation systems including PLCs and camera based inspection systems

• Diagnose faults, read engineering drawings and ensure minimal downtime across the 24/7 operation (automation is the main area of downtime)

• Support planned maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records

• Work independently on weekend shifts and as part of a wider team on weekdays

• Ensure safe working practices, compliance with HSE procedures and full adherence to site safety standards

• Contribute to continuous improvement activity within the engineering function

What you need

• PLC understanding or exposure to automation systems

• Experience with moulding or assembly equipment is desirable

• Pneumatics knowledge is helpful

• Ability to work confidently both alone and within a team

• Understanding of HSE processes and safe systems of work

• 17th or 18th Edition is preferred but not essential

Why apply

• Stable long term career opportunity

• Hands on, varied work with modern automation and inspection systems

• Strong team culture with ongoing development
