Sonographer (General) - FRIDAYS ONLY 1 DAY PER WEEKJob Title: Sonographer (General) Band: Band 7 Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital, SA12 7BX Contract Type: Locum Salary: £42-£45 per hour About You Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer specialising in General Ultrasound looking for an extra shift? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to support our client on Fridays, in delivering excellent ultrasound services such as Gynae, Abdomens, pelvis etc. Key Responsibilities

• To undertake Ultrasound investigation on patients using the referral form and clinical condition as a basis for assessing procedure required.
• To manage your own sonographer worklist and undertake independent reporting on ultrasound examinations where appropriate.
• To organise own workload and prioritise procedures where and when necessary.

Essential Qualifications We are looking for an experienced Sonographer (General) with:

• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g., MSc/Diploma).
• HCPC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally within the UK healthcare system.
• At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
