Join our team as an Executive Assistant in the Birmingham office! Join Mills & Reeve as an Executive Assistant An exciting opportunity to join our Mills & Reeve Executive Support Services team. We are looking for a proactive and skilled Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our lawyers. You will be a natural organiser, easy to work with and someone who thrives in a role that requires multi-tasking and working with a variety of people across the business. The activities Will include a variety of client service, business development, diary management, finance, billing and managing workflow.

  • Deliver outstanding Executive Assistant services to lawyers and business professionals;
  • manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, event planning and expenses;
  • support business development activities, including networking and updating client communications;
  • provide exceptional client service and proactively progressing tasks;
  • assist with finance and billing, including preparing invoices, and liaising with finance teams;
  • coordinate workflow, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively; and
  • draft correspondence, amend legal documents, and manage client spreadsheets.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a professional services environment, ideally supporting lawyers or similar professionals;
  • a natural organiser, confident in managing multiple priorities and delegating tasks;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • strong attention to detail and ability to build sustainable relationships with colleagues and clients; and
  • resilience, proactive, and willing to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
