Join us as a Product Manager in Product Strategy & Simplification

  • We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a customer-led mindset to support the development and delivery of our Everyday Banking product strategy
  • You’ll use strategic, commercial and data driven analysis to inform key decisions and influence senior leaders across the retail bank
  • This is an opportunity for you to make your mark by making sure that our current account and savings products meet evolving customer needs and deliver sustainable outcomes
  • We're offering this role for a period of 12 months

What you'll do You’ll play a key role in developing the Everyday Banking product strategy, contributing to strategic thinking, financial analysis and scenario modelling, and product design. You’ll help craft clear, compelling strategic narratives that support senior‑level decision‑making and shape the future direction of current accounts and savings products at NatWest Group. You’ll Also Be

  • Building strong relationships with key retail stakeholders across cross functional teams to align inputs and support delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Analysing internal and external product performance data to identify opportunities to improve our customer offering
  • Translating complex insights into clear, practical recommendations linked to commercial outcomes
  • Conducting market, customer and competitor analysis to generate actionable strategic insights
  • Supporting commercial modelling, forecastings and sensitivity analysis
  • Creating high-quality slide decks and data visualisations for senior stakeholders

The skills you'll need To succeed in this role, you’ll be a proactive self-starter with a strong commercial drive and a strategic, customer-focused mindset. You’ll have a clear understanding of the opportunities and threats facing the financial services industry and be comfortable working with ambiguity in fast-paced environments. You’ll Also Be Expected To Have

  • Experience in strategy or commercially focused analytical roles, ideally within consultancy, banking, or financial services
  • A solid understanding of key income drivers, balance sheet mechanics, and how products deliver financial performance
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills for analysis and modelling
  • Experience creating clear, professional presentations in PowerPoint
  • The ability to connect detailed analysis to strategic objectives and business outcomes
  • Well‑developed leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, with the confidence to influence across teams
