Job DescriptionMaterial & SAP Administrator – Navantia UK (Methil)

Navantia UK is looking for a detail-driven Material & SAP Administrator to support our operations at the Methil site. This role is central to ensuring accurate material data, smooth SAP processes and effective coordination across procurement, production and supply chain teams.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of material master data within SAP, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across the supply chain. Acting as a key link between operational teams and IT, you’ll help keep materials flowing efficiently while supporting business reporting and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create, maintain and update material master data within SAP

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, WM)

  • Work closely with Procurement, Production, Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure correct SAP setup

  • Support SAP system performance, troubleshooting and issue resolution with IT

  • Apply and maintain data governance standards, naming conventions and approval workflows

  • Produce SAP reports, KPIs and dashboards to support operational decision-making

  • Support SAP upgrades, testing and rollout of new functionality

  • Provide guidance and support to users on material management processes

  • Carry out regular audits of material data to identify and resolve issues

  • Document processes, workflows and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with SAP Material Management (MM) or related modules

  • Strong understanding of material master data, procurement and inventory processes

  • Confident user of SAP reporting and data management tools

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple priorities

  • Proactive mindset with an eye for process improvement

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
