Are you an experienced professional in major construction and infrastructure environments with a strong background in data analysis and bid coordination? NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained to support a world-leading infrastructure services provider who is seeking a Bids Submissions Agent to join their team initially in the London Head Office to drive efficiency and strategic planning for their future project pipeline.
Starting in London before moving to Dublin, as the Bids Submissions Agent, you will establish critical data collection and calibration processes for future opportunities and tenders. You will act as a key coordinator between core functions (Design, Estimation, Procurement, and Operations), providing essential reporting, analysis, and strategic support to help secure winning bids.
As the new Bid Submission Agent, some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Data Strategy & Analysis: Establish data collection and calibration processes for analysing future opportunities, EOIs, and tenders. You will prepare statistical analysis and data-driven reports to identify project performance and predict pipeline outcomes.
- Bid Coordination & Submissions: Set up strong coordination and planning between core functions. You will support bid preparation, assist with writing "Returnables," and participate in bid meetings with partners and bid production activities.
- Technical Review & Risk Management: Undertake scope of works and design reviews in conjunction with the tender and estimating teams. You will analyse tender information (ITT) and assist in identifying and resolving complex construction risks and opportunities.
- Knowledge Management & Governance: Support the development of case study knowledge management libraries for Water, Infrastructure, and Energy projects. You will also coordinate metrics to support the client's corporate governance obligations.
- Project Controls Support: Support the Bid Construction Manager in developing and implementing integrated project controls systems, reporting strategy, and communications protocols, while challenging input from parties to constantly seek improvement of the tendering program.
To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of commercial construction experience, technical awareness, and strong analytical capabilities. We are looking for candidates with:
- Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Science, or Finance.
- Experience: 10 years in construction experience within major projects and the infrastructure environment.
- Sector Exposure: Solid exposure to a commercial construction environment, possessing multi-disciplinary technical experience and demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted major construction compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Contractual Awareness: Good understanding of NEC contracts and strong awareness of technical competencies, including contract administration, planning and programming techniques, and construction scheduling using tools like Primavera P6 and Power BI.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong client-focus, high attention to detail, and a professional, highly motivated attitude.
If you are a professional, analytical, and highly organised individual ready to drive the strategic development of this client’s bid pipeline from the London Head Office before transitioning to Dublin, we encourage you to apply.
