HMH in Kintore have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join our busy team, ongoing contract position based full time on site.
Job Summary
As a key member of the Quality Assurance team at HMH, providing essential Quality support to new build, and overhaul and repair products, you will be responsible for the compilation of manufacturing record books, assurance of traceability and documentation compliance to regulatory and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Create databooks per the requirements of HMH procedures, contracts and specifications
- Compile data certificates for components as required
- Compile work packs in advance of workshop requirement
- Interface and schedule customer or third party review of databooks
- Provide status updates to the appropriate personnel
- Read and understand product specifications to determine databook requirements
- Assist in problem solving to verify documentation meets regulatory requirements
- Identify risks to on time delivery (of documentation) and capture defects to facilitate continuous improvement and risk mitigation
- Share best practices and drive consistency/standardization
- Electronically file various record documents such as MTRs, work orders and inspection reports
- Support nonconformance resolution by providing quality documentation/product history data upon request
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy
Desired Characteristics
- You should be experienced in quality control or manufacturing documentation
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work across organisational boundaries
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to co-ordinate several projects simultaneously
- Proven analytical and organisational ability
