Role DescriptionThe External Relations Associate is a non-enumerated role, meaning it is unpaid and undertaken on a voluntary basis.Key responsibilities include:

• Identify potential client organisations and conduct targeted outreach to introduce NBS and its services
• Maintain a database of potential and existing client contacts
• Arrange introductory meetings between interested organisations and the NBS leadership team
• Support the conversion of opportunities into defined consulting projects
• Maintain professional relationships with organisations to encourage repeat engagements
• Work closely with the internal team to communicate project opportunities and client needs

Qualifications

• Strong communication and networking skills
• Professional written communication, particularly email and LinkedIn outreach
• Confidence in initiating conversations with professionals and organisations
• Interest in consulting, business development, and industry engagement
• Organised and proactive in identifying new opportunities
• Background in life sciences, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, business, economics, or a related field is preferred
