You’ll be working as part of our Connections Input Services team, reporting to the Team Leader. Your main focus will be providing efficient, accurate, and friendly administrative support to help us meet our regulatory obligations and deliver a smooth experience for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling applications for Points of Connection (PoC) and reviewing design submissions.
- Approving certain projects for delivery teams and other departments.
- Responding to customer queries by email and phone, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a helpful, professional service.
- Entering and managing data in our systems.
- Processing applications quickly and accurately.
- Supporting the Team Leader with daily operations.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks.
- Helping the wider team with projects and activities when needed.

To keep our processes running smoothly, ensure compliance with industry rules, and provide a helpful, professional service to customers and colleagues.

- Someone with previous administration experience.

What You’ll Bring
- Confident IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good customer service experience.
- Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well with others.
- An interest in the energy sector and how electricity networks support decarbonisation**.What qualifications and experience should you have?**
- GCSEs Levels 9-6 (A* - C)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Customer service experience (internal and external).
- Administration and data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in the electricity industry.
