We’re partnering with a leading UK law firm renowned for its complex, high-profile work and a strong national presence. As they continue through an exciting period of change and growth, they’re seeking a capable HR Business Partner to play a strategic role in shaping the firm’s people agenda.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key HR role within a fast-paced, professional services environment. Whether your background is in law, accountancy, consultancy or another corporate setting, you’ll bring insight, emotional intelligence, and sound judgement to a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
What makes this role stand out?
- You’ll be the lead HR partner for a range of business units, working closely with senior stakeholders across the firm including Partners and Heads of Department as a trusted advisor.
- You’ll manage and develop two HR Advisors, supporting them in delivering an exceptional day-to-day service.
- You’ll influence at a strategic level designing initiatives, driving change, and embedding best practices around performance, development, and culture.
- You’ll join a collaborative, people-focused HR team that is valued across the business.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a professional services or corporate environment, legal experience is a plus but not essential.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, with the confidence to manage complex and sensitive cases with discretion and professionalism.
- A commercial, pragmatic approach, someone who can challenge and guide senior stakeholders with credibility.
- A collaborative mindset and a natural coaching style, you build strong relationships and bring people with you.
- Experience managing or mentoring others, with a genuine interest in helping your team grow and succeed.
