The Role:
As a Paid Ads Executive, you will own and manage paid advertising across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn for a large portfolio of B2B clients. You will be responsible for building, optimising, and scaling campaigns that generate qualified leads and measurable pipeline for our clients. This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership, working directly with our client success and strategy teams to turn budgets into results.
You will have the freedom to run campaigns your way, backed by a team that values performance over process for the sake of process. There is a clear progression path into a Senior or Lead Paid Media role as the department grows.
Key Responsibilities:Campaign Management & Execution
- Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and LinkedIn.
- Manage ad spend across a diverse portfolio of B2B clients, each with different industries, audiences, and objectives.
- Write compelling ad copy and work with designers to produce creative that converts.
- Set up and maintain proper tracking, attribution, and conversion events across all platforms.
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing of creatives, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
Optimisation & Performance
- Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimisation decisions to hit client KPIs.
- Manage budgets carefully, ensuring spend is allocated where it delivers the strongest return.
- Analyse performance data to identify what is working, what is not, and what to do about it.
- Reduce cost per lead and cost per acquisition over time through continuous iteration.
Reporting & Client Communication
- Prepare clear, honest weekly and monthly performance reports for each client.
- Present results and recommendations on client calls alongside the account management team.
- Translate campaign data into plain language that clients actually understand and care about.
- Flag underperformance early and come with solutions, not just observations.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Client Success to align campaign strategy with each client's broader goals.
- Coordinate with content and design teams to ensure creative assets are delivered on time and on brief.
- Share learnings across the team to raise the standard of paid media delivery across the agency.
- Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, templates, and processes as the paid media function scales.
About You:
- 2+ years' hands-on experience running paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, ideally within an agency or multi-client environment.
- Comfortable managing meaningful ad budgets across a portfolio of 10+ accounts simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles, lead generation funnels, and what makes a qualified lead versus a vanity metric.
- Proficient with Google Ads Editor, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Experience with conversion tracking, UTM structures, and pixel/tag implementation.
- Analytical and numbers-driven, with the ability to spot trends in data and act on them quickly.
- Excellent written communication, particularly in crafting ad copy that speaks to a B2B audience without sounding generic.
- Organised and disciplined, able to manage multiple campaigns across multiple clients without letting things slip.
- Comfortable on client calls, able to explain what you are doing and why in straightforward terms.
- Proactive and self-motivated. You do not wait to be told something is underperforming before you fix it.
Nice to Have:
- Google Ads certification.
- Experience with landing page tools (Unbounce, Instapage, or similar).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and how paid leads flow through a sales pipeline.
- Experience running paid campaigns specifically for lead generation or demand generation in B2B.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary
- Quarterly bonus
- Flexible working (from our Glasgow office)
- Regular company meet-ups & team building
- 30 days holiday
