About Our Client I'm partnering with a leading UK consumer/retail organisation undergoing a significant period of digital, data and technology transformation. They are seeking a seasoned Interim Divisional Finance Director to take full ownership of the financial and commercial agenda across a large-scale global support function. Job Description This interim position sits at the heart of a rapidly evolving commercial landscape. You'll partner closely with C suite and senior leadership to ensure investment decisions, transformation initiatives and operational delivery are commercially sound, strategically aligned, and financially optimised.The scale, pace and visibility of this role mean you'll have genuine influence on enterprise-wide outcomes. Financial Strategy & Business Partnering

• Lead commercial finance strategy across Divisional operations.
• Act as key business partner to C‑suite, shaping long‑term financial direction and challenging thinking where needed.
• Enable insight-led decision making through robust analysis, performance management and commercial challenge.

Planning, Forecasting & Performance

• Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning for a large and complex cost base.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, identifying commercial drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver clear, influential communication of financial performance to senior stakeholders and the Board.

Governance, Controls & Investment Oversight

• Ensure robust financial governance across technology investments, programmes and services.
• Lead business case development, scenario modelling and ROI analysis for major projects.
• Oversee cost control, transfer pricing, major contract reviews and financial risk management.

Transformation & Capability Building

• Drive finance transformation across reporting, processes and decision support.
• Enhance financial literacy across business partner teams.
• Develop a high-performing team culture with strong analytical and partnering skills.

The Successful Applicant We're seeking an exceptional finance leader who brings:

• C‑suite stakeholder management experience within a multi‑billion‑turnover organisation.
• Senior Director‑level background operating in a complex matrix environment within consumer products or retail.
• Proven experience partnering with and supporting C suite stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering large-scale change and transformation (digital, data, operating model, cost optimisation).
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at executive level.
• Deep experience leading and developing finance teams in high-paced, evolving environments.
