Company Description
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious General Sales Manager to join and lead our Edinburgh Sales Team. The role is responsible for leading, driving, delivering and exceeding the sales performance and overall dealership standards for the Sales Department in Edinburgh across three stron brands, Ford, Omoda/Jaecoo and our own Used offering, UsedPlus+.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edinburgh for a General Sales Manager. In this role, you will oversee daily sales operations, develop and implement sales strategies, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business targets. You will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, coaching and mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additional responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, preparing sales reports, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the sales process.
Qualifications
- Strong sales management and customer relationship skills
- Experience in coaching and developing sales teams
- Proficiency in preparing reports and using performance metrics to drive results
- Knowledge of the automotive industry or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with teams
- Proficiency in relevant sales and administrative software tools
