JOB – Plant Fitter/EngineerLOCATION – WiganTERM – PermanentSALARY - £35,000 - £55,000 (Dependant on experience)

My client is a heavy machinery specialist. They are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter/Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Wigan area on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Engineering Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• At least 4 years’ relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Engineer
• Experienced in the maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery
• Have a confident technical skillset with a Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Be NVQ level 3 certifified
• Flexible with working hours and overtime
• Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude
• Be a team player

The Mechanical Engineering Technician role will involve:

• Working in a hot, heavy and sometimes challenging environment
• Planned Preventative Maintenance on heavy machinery
• Meeting Health & Safety standards
• Participating in a team to ensure the smooth running of operations
