Senior Project Planner

Prism Connect is currently recruiting a Contract Senior Planner on behalf of a leading Oil & Gas Operator based in Aberdeen, United Kingdom. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in planning and cost control to support the project management team in delivering key projects efficiently. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, analysing progress, and identifying potential risks or delays. Your expertise will contribute to effective project execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and providing valuable insights to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner within Major Projects within the Oil & Gas industry or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools and software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to integrate planning and cost management to provide comprehensive project insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in monitoring project progress and analysing variances against planned schedules and budgets.
• Understanding of contractual and commercial considerations impacting project planning and costs.
