About the PFSA
Established in 2010, the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) is a leading provider of CPD-accredited qualifications in football scouting and performance analysis. Our courses are studied by learners worldwide, from aspiring scouts to professionals working in the game.
The Opportunity
We are commissioning a series of major e-learning projects and are seeking an experienced E-Learning Developer with exceptional UI design capability. The successful candidate will design and build courses that combine rigorous learning design with a polished, distinctive user interface, setting a new standard for our course portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design course interfaces, including navigation, menus, controls and interaction patterns, to a consistently high standard
- Produce screen designs in Figma (or equivalent) for review and approval before development
- Build courses in Articulate Storyline, ensuring interfaces are fully functional, intuitive and consistent throughout
- Apply and extend PFSA's established design system, developing reusable components and templates for future courses
- Translate specialist subject matter in scouting and analysis into clear, engaging learning experiences
- Deliver SCORM-compliant packages for deployment in our LMS
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable expertise in UI design, including layout, typography, colour and visual hierarchy
- Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline, including custom navigation, triggers, variables, states and layers
- A portfolio of original, visually distinctive e-learning work that goes beyond standard templates and default player designs
- Experience working with design systems and component-based design
- Sound understanding of instructional design principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to agreed deadlines
Desirable
- UX experience, including usability testing and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Data visualisation experience
- Familiarity with TalentLMS and AI voiceover tools such as ElevenLabs
- An interest in football or sports analysis
